Although Internet access is not required for a 1:1 iPad, it does make it easier to access many of the educational materials provided by the district. For this reason, the district is working to create or publicize community locations where students can get online after school hours. The locations below provide free access to wifi that students and families can use.
Hempfield High School Library
The
HHS Library is open Wednesday evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Mountville Library
The
Mountville Library, located in the old Mountville Elementary School, is open during the following times:
Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
East Petersburg Civic Center
In addition to the locations listed above, cellular hotspots can be borrowed on a short term basis from the high school and middle school libraries for use outside of school.
