Summer School Online
-
All classes are being offered through an online format.
General Information
-
Hempfield School District's Summer School Program provides opportunities for students to enrich their understanding of basic learning skills, to acquire additional knowledge, and to achieve their fullest academic potential.
Students will need to use a personal device or your current district issued device with Internet access at home to complete coursework. Students must be capable of meeting and maintaining the technology-based requirements of the course, to include written assignments and all assessments.
Current 9th & 12th graders, will be asked to turn in their iPad at the conclusion of the school year. However, students that are participating in summer school may keep their device to use through July 23rd. Students that choose to keep their device for summer school will need to return the device to the Technology office immediately following the conclusion of summer school.
During the summer of 2021, we will offer classes in an online format. Hempfield teachers develop the curriculum and teach all classes. Students will complete all coursework at home online; however, students will be required to view an orienatation and to meet with their teachers virtually. Non-Hempfield Students are required to verify with their "home" school that their summer school course credits will be accepted.

All other courses are offered for remediation, subjects previously failed or for the correction of academic deficiencies. All payments received must be online with a credit card only.
