Free and Reduced Meals

  • Hempfield School District will extended the free breakfast and lunch program for all Hempfield students until the end of the 2021-2022 school year! All enrolled students of the Hempfield School District are eligible to receive a nutritional breakfast and lunch each school day at no charge to your household.

    Families may apply for free or reduced price meals at any time during the school year. Every year, one family application must be completed. Applications are approved based on federal standards for family size and income.

    This online process is fast and easy to follow, offering a step-by-step process that is confidential and allows for quicker approval processing. Use this link to apply online. If you do not have computer access, a computer is available in the Food Services Office to complete this application.

    Online State Application

    COMPASS, a system used by the Department of Public Welfare, allows Pennsylvanians to apply for programs, such as Free & Reduced Price School Meals, Food Stamps, Energy Assistance, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), etc. 

    Paper Application

    Paper applications are available only upon request and should be returned to school with your child.
