PowerSchool & Schoology Access

  • To access PowerSchool:

    • Log into PowerSchool, using the district website here. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
    • If you cannot log in, reset your PowerSchool password using the Forgot Password link. Please note: This process will NOT work using the app. You must start at the district website here. An email will be sent to email address associated with the account.
    • Log into PowerSchool.

    If you still are having problems with PowerSchool, you can also email powerschool@hempfieldsd.org

    To access Schoology:

    • Log into PowerSchool, using the district website here. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
    • Along the left hand side, click on Schoology.  It will display your Schoology username and password. This will be different from anything you’ve used in previous school years. This also will not work in the app. 
    • Click on the words “Schoology Log In” to go to Schoology.

  • Check Schoology Connectivity

    If you’re having trouble connecting, check Schoology’s status page at https://status.schoology.com.

    If there’s an outage it will usually clear up in an hour or so. Hempfield School District cannot speed this process up.
