Performance Evaluation

  • In accordance with HSD Board Policy 312: Performance Assessment of Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent, “the Board shall conduct a formal written performance assessment of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent annually as required by law.” The superintendent and assistant superintendent will be assessed based on mutually agreed upon performance goals, which are established at the beginning of each school year and are monitored for progress throughout the school year.

    The HSD School Board and Superintendent Christopher S. Adams, Ed.D. agreed to the following 2015-16 goal areas in August 2015:
    • Goal 1: Student Growth and Achievement
    • Goal 2: District Communications and School-Stakeholder Partnerships
    • Goal 3: Professional Development
    Based on the results of the annual performance evaluation conducted by the Board on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, Dr. Adams has met the mutually agreed upon performance objectives established in August 2015 for the 2015-16 school year.
