School Counseling Mission
-
The mission of the Hempfield School District Counseling Department is to provide a progressive, comprehensive, and data-driven K-12 school counseling program addressing the academic, career, and social/emotional developmental needs of all students.
School counselors provide a variety of services for students and families. Counselors work with education support teams; manage 504 Accommodation Plans; help students transition to a new school or grade level; and conduct mediation sessions, as well as individual and small group counseling.

The HSD Counseling Office is on Schoology! All students should have been placed into a "Class of" Schoology course based on their graduation year. Students and families have access to this course to view resources and other information shared by the Counseling Office. Please check this page often to review information on post-secondary planning, resources, and special events offered throughout the course of the school year.
If your child is in one of our elementary schools and does not have a Schoology account, please visit the individual school's Counseling Office page.
