Reminder: GIANT's Fill-a-Plate & Round Up Programs
Posted by Brooke Fisher on 1/26/2023 10:00:00 AMGIANT's Round Up Program will continue to run through February 28, but you can currently donate non-perishable goods as part of the Fill-a-Plate program, too!
The Fill-a-Plate portion of GIANT's partnership with HSD to help feed families will run from January 20-30, and you can participate by dropping your items into the collection bin at the front of the GIANT store at 550 Centerville Road. Items can be brought to the store or purchased while you do your regular shopping.
Also, don't forget... you can still “round up” your grocery purchase and donate the "round up" amount to Hempfield School District's efforts to help feed students. The GIANT Company will directly support customers’ generosity by matching all donations up to $250,000. These programs are only available at the GIANT store on Centerville Road.

First Day of WIN5 Clubs
Posted by Bill Brossman on 1/23/2023 4:00:00 PMToday at HHS, students attended clubs during the school day for the first time in over a decade! We are excited to be able to offer over 80 clubs for our students to participate in. Today's WIN5 club period was a great chance for students to get introduced to their club advisors and start planning their activities. The purpose of WIN5 clubs is to give students an opportunity to connect, have fun, and explore their interests. We will continue to post updates on our WIN5 clubs throughout the spring.
Mr. Davis & Mr. Tawney lead the Rugby Club & Franklin Gym plays host to the Floor Hockey Club.
Mr. Lied and Mr. Turner work with our new E-Sports Team.
