Moment of Silence Observance on September 11th

On June 17, 2024, Governor Shapiro signed into law Act 25 of 2024. This new law requires all school entities to annually conduct a moment of silence during the instructional day on September 11th to honor the memory of those who lost their lives or were injured during the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

In observance of this, each of our schools will organize an age-appropriate explanation, activity, or a guest speaker to help our students understand the significance of this day, in addition to the moment of silence on Wednesday, September 11.

We appreciate your support as we come together to remember and reflect on this important day in our nation's history.
