HHS Community,

            Thank you to everyone who came out for back to school night. It was wonderful to see so many parents, guardians, and family members in the halls of HHS. We hope that you enjoyed hearing from your teachers and learning about some of our upcoming events. If you would like to provide some feedback from the evening, you may do so HERE.  

As I shared at our parent meeting Thursday night, this year’s theme is HHS: ALL IN! We want to give our all to everything we do. If you would like to recognize a staff member for being ALL IN or going above and beyond you can nominate them HERE, and we will recognize them at one of our faculty meetings.

Items of Note:

 

This Wednesday marks 23 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the USA. As we have done in past years, we will start the day with a brief message followed by a moment of silence. Please note, that this past June the Pennsylvania legislature passed Act 25 of 2024 requiring all school entities to engage in this practice. In addition to this moment of silence, some of our social studies classes will engage in this topic with a guest speaker, and our military fitness course will do a stair climb in the stadium in conjunction with our local military recruiters to honor the steps taken by our fallen heroes on that fateful day.
