    • Throughout the month of November, Centerville Middle School will be collecting new, unused toys for the Toys for Tots drive. This special event helps local families enjoy a special holiday by providing them with new, unused toys. There are Toys for Tots donation boxes located in all the school lobbies, and we will be collecting toys until December 1. Please consider donating to this worthy cause!
    • The Colonials are pleased to announce that Sophie Feigenbaum and Emyis Rodriguez are the next Colonial students of the cycle.Congratulations Sophie and Emyis! Keep up the great work!
    • The CMS newspaper is holding a winter art contest. Your art piece has to be hand drawn and be submitted to Mr. Harbeck by January 4th. If you like to draw we recommend submitting a piece.

    • The Centerville Middle School Scribes are pleased to announce that Allison Rush, Carter Franck have been selected as our Students of the Week. Through persistence and hard work, Allison and Carter are being celebrated for not only how well they are performing in their classes, but for how they are supportive and collaborative with peers. Congratulations to both of you and thank you for being a positive role model at CMS!

    • On Tuesday, November 23rd, Centerville Middle School will participate in a game show trivia competition in homerooms to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday break. It will be a fun afternoon of competition. Student Council will also be selling Philly soft pretzels for $1.00 or a high five, so make sure to be on your best behavior to earn those high fives before November 23rd!
    • The CMS newspaper is holding a winter art contest. Your art piece has to be hand-drawn and be submitted to Mr. Harbeck by January 4th. 
    • Elected 8th grade Student Council members organized the items in the Lost and Found. The items are located on tables outside of the cafeteria. Please take a moment at lunchtime to see if any of the items belong to you and take them home. All items not claimed by the end of day Tuesday, November 23 will be donated to charity.

  • Reminder: Schools Closed November 24-26, 2021

  • Annual Hempfield Holiday Shoppe December 3, 2021

    Hempfield School District presents the annual Hempfield Holiday Shoppe – student craft show! Students from the Hempfield School District have been working hard making a variety of holiday gifts for that special person on your list. Please join us in supporting our district mini-businesses, operated by students, who are learning real-world skills through this experience.

    • When: Friday, December 3, 2021; 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
    • Where: Hempfield High School -- Franklin Gym
