February 6, 2025 — Flexible Instructional Day

Teachers will hold (3), 30-minute blocks of time spread throughout the day to be available for students via email, Schoology message, or google meets. The times for the three sessions are:
8:30 – 9:00
11:30 – 12:00
2:00 – 2:30

CMS Recognize Student Achievement at Student of the Quarter Assembly

Students were also recognized for achievement in Art, Technology Education, World Languages, and Chorus. Students were celebrated as well for reaching the finals of the CMS Spelling Bee and winning a Scholastic Writing award. Two teachers were nominated by students and recognized as Staff members of the quarter.

15th Annual Food Drive
Posted by Kelly Burkholder on 2/3/2025 8:00:00 AMHSD's 15th Annual Food Drive, presented by JK Mechanical, has kicked off! Each building in the district will collect non-perishable food items to be donated to the Hempfield Area Food Pantry throughout the month of February.
Food items can be dropped off at the main lobby of each school between now and the morning of Friday, February 28. All non-perishables will be accepted and appreciated, but please refer to the photo below for specific items in need.Between January and December 2024, the Hempfield Area Food Pantry served an average of 1,784 individuals each month, which included 892 adults, 489 children, and 403 seniors. The pantry currently has 341 registered families, all within the boundaries of the Hempfield School District.
Your generosity can help us surpass last year's donation of 6,142 lbs. of food!

Secondary Report Cards Available Online
Posted by Kelly Burkholder on 1/31/2025 12:00:00 PMSecondary report cards for the second quarter (Q2) will be available on PowerSchool by 5:00 p.m. today, January 31, and can be accessed from a web browser when signed into the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once signed into the portal, report cards can be found under the PSVault Documents link.
