  • Severe Weather Drill

Posted by Cassondra Ishman on 3/23/2023 10:00:00 AM
Today, students at MES practiced the severe weather drill. This drill is practiced each year so that all staff and students are prepared for this type of emergency situation. During a severe weather drill, students exit their classrooms and go to a designated safe location on the first floor, away from windows. Students then assume the safety position of heads covered and facing the wall while seated/hunched down on their knees. Students did a great job following procedures during the drill.
