Mountville Elementary School is located in West Hempfield Township and serves about 580 students from kindergarten to sixth grade.

Welcome to Mountville Elementary School in the Hempfield School District. At Mountville we embrace the district’s mission of providing safe environments and responsive programs that inspire all students to become lifelong learners and contributing citizens in a global society.

We are proud of our diverse community and believe that each student has unique gifts that help him or her succeed. The Mountville staff cares for our students and collaborates to ensure their success academically, socially, and emotionally.

When you enter Mountville Elementary School you will see the daily effort of all staff to provide rich educational experiences for all of our students. Students will be communicating, collaborating, and creating individually and in small groups using technology, and broadening their scope of knowledge in all subject areas. This is all done while making sure learning remains fun!

We also value our partnerships with families and community members. We have a strong foundation to ensure that all who enter through these doors will leave having the tools needed to be successful on the paths that they have chosen for their future endeavors.
