Hempfield School District is partnering with the Attorney General's Office to conduct presentations to students in all of our school buildings on cyber safety, bullying, and harassment. In addition, a special presentation is being offered for parents/guardians and community members on the same and related topics.

Jerry Mitchell, outreach agent for the Attorney General's Office, will present and field questions from the audience. The presentation will give parents/guardians a foundational education on understanding the social media sites that children use and how to keep them safe while using them. The presentation will cover how to enable security features on the various apps, as well as provide tips for monitoring children’s behavior and interactions on the internet.

The parent/community presentation is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 26 in the Hempfield High School PAC (Performing Arts Center) from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
