Landisville PTO

  • The Landisville PTO serves both Landisville Primary Center and Landisville Intermediate Center. The executive board works with  guardians, as well as school administration, faculty, and staff, to help fulfill the objectives of the organization.

Our objective is to increase the amount of communication between the school and your home. We appreciate, and welcome, any volunteer help you may be able to provide.

  • Giant A+ Shopper Rewards Program
Before your big Holiday grocery shopping begins, please make sure to provide your Giant Card Number to the school or to the email address below! These numbers need to be registered every year and are not carried over by Giant from year to year. The funds add up quickly for the school, but to really benefit, we need to have as many cards in the system as possible! Please ask for your neighbors and relatives card numbers too!!

This is the easiest way to make money for our school while you do your regular everyday grocery shopping! At LPC and LIC, we have roughly 600 families. Register by clicking here. Our school code is 02071 (Landisville Primary/Intermediate Centers). Thank you for your support!

    Volunteer Information & Clearances
The Hempfield School District welcomes individuals who are interested in volunteering. A volunteer is a person who services the district without compensation on a planned, approved, and regular basis. For further information about volunteering and clearances, please click here.

  • Landisville PTO News: Indian Echo, Gertrude Hawk, Family Fun Night and More...

Posted by Kimberly Snyder on 2/15/2019 12:00:00 PM

    Dear LPC families,

It’s a busy time for the Landisville PTO.  Please see below for upcoming events and fundraisers:

Indian Echo Caverns--today through Monday, February 18

The Landisville PTO has again joined with the Indian Echo Caverns for a Presidents’ Weekend fundraising event! Visit the Caverns at any time from February 15 - 18, please bring this linked flyer (a paper copy was also sent home with students this week) or mention the Landisville PTO and 20% of your ticket price will go to the Landisville PTO.

Guided tours will take place every 25 minutes from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. each day through the amazing and awe-inspiring on-site limestone caverns. Your children (and you) will truly enjoy this experience!

Gertrude Hawk Candy Sale--orders due Monday, March 4

Gertrude Hawk packets should have home this week. Things are a little different this year, in that the included flyer only features Gertrude Hawk's best sellers. If you would like to see the full catalog and/or place an order online, please email me at and I will send you the information. Thanks!

Family Fun Night--Friday, March 8 (RSVPs due Monday, March 4)

Join us for a night of magic with Erick Hershey! Calling upon over 30 years of professional performance, Erick Hershey presents amazing illusions with upbeat country charm. His “Country Conjuring Magic!” is fun, engaging magic, full of laughter, and suitable for all ages. From close-up impossibilities performed an assistant’s hands, to bright, interactive stage mysteries, his magic warmly involves the audience, creating a shared experience of “Honest Deceptions”.

We are excited to offer this year’s show free of charge to our LPC/LIC students and their families. However, please RSVP via the form sent home with your student and return to the school no later than Monday, March 4th, so we can reserve your spot.  There will again be two show times: 5:30-6:15 p.m. and 6:45-7:30 p.m. The shows will be the same, so please choose just one. Due to capacity limitations, there is only seating for 300 people at each show; you will be required to check in at the door prior to the show that you choose.

Isaac’s Dine Out in conjunction with Family Fun Night--Friday, March 8

As we no longer serve dinner at the school as a part of Family Fun Night, the Landisville PTO has organized an extra dine out on Friday, March 8th at the Mount Joy Isaac’s (next to where Darrenkamp’s used to be).  Grab dinner at Isaac’s before or after the show, show your flyer (to be distributed closer to the date), and Isaac’s will generously donate 25% of the cost of your meal back to our schools.

We look forward to a successful week! Sign up to volunteer for the Book Fair here.

The Book Fair will be open the last two days of this week and all next week, including the evening times when you are conferencing with teachers. It’s a great time to stop by and grab some surprise book gifts for your children.

We are hopeful to have several Hempfield High School students from the HSD Mini-THON Club available to ‘babysit’ during your conference visit. Students have done this in the past while putting out their donations jar to raise money in the fight again childhood cancer.

More information will be available next week about this babysitting possibility during conferences after further discussion with High School Club Advisors.

THANKS in advance to everyone signing up to help at the Book Fair! We look forward to a successful Book Fair Week. Please sign up to volunteer here.
