Growth and Development Program

Each spring, the Hempfield School District provides a program on growth and development for fifth grade boys and girls. The program is presented in gender-alike groups during the school day. The program uses the videos linked below.

We encourage you to view these brief videos before the school program so that you are aware of the content and can discuss with your son or daughter at home after the program.

We understand that some parents or guardians may choose to provide this education for their child on their own. If you have a significant objection to your child participating in this program at school, please contact your child’s teacher prior to the presentation. An alternate activity will then be provided for your child during the time of the growth and development program.

FES fifth grade students will participate in the program on Tuesday, May 14 at 11:15 a.m.
