    Book Fair and Literacy Night

Our Spring Book Fair will be held from Tues. May 17 to Thurs. May 19. Students will have the opportunity to shop with their classroom during the school day. Students brought forms home with details about using eWallet, a digital cashless payment system. Cash is also accepted.

The building will also be open on Thurs., May 19 for evening shopping from 6:00-8:00 PM. Families are welcome to bring their students to shop as well as participate in the One Book One School Family Night, which includes a recorded presentation from author Katherine Applegate, crafts, games, and a food truck. Students should have brought home permission slips to participate in the activities. All are welcome to shop at the Book Fair during this time.

You can also shop the Book Fair online! Go to scholastic.com/fair and type “Farmdale” into the search box.

    Lost and Found

We have many lost and found items, such as jackets, coats, winter gear, water bottles, and lunch kits. If your student is missing something, please ask them to check the lost and found tables that are now set up in the main lobby.

Pay Tribute to Graduating 6th Graders and Loved Ones

In front of Farmdale, we have our six-foot metal falcon named Sky, sculpted by John Morrow, a former student. We’ve built a memory-filled brick courtyard around the sculpture. You can purchase an engraved brick to be forever memorialized in front of our school! This is a great tribute for graduating sixth graders, former students, teachers, family members, or local businesses. For more information, please call the school office at 717-898-5595 or request that a form be sent home with your child.

    Looking Ahead
