FES PTO

  • The Farmdale Faculty Parent Association is a teacher and parent volunteer organization dedicated to supporting our children’s education as well as having some fun activities. The FPA supports Farmdale in many ways. In addition to paying for field trips and assemblies, we provide teachers and students with materials, supplies and equipment that the district may be unable to supply. Every parent/guardian of a Farmdale student is a member of the FPA and is therefore welcome at any meeting.

    Mission Statement

The Farmdale FPA is a non-profit faculty and parent association (FPA) whose mission is to institute and sustain a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by evolving opportunities within the home, school, and community.  The FPA provides assistance to teachers, raises funds for educational materials and experiences, advocates school and family social interaction, and provides an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. It is our belief that the team effort of a faculty parent association offers the best possible learning environment for our children.  This organization shall exist for educational and charitable purposes.

The goals and objectives of the Farmdale FPA:

    • Promote communication between students, faculty, and parents.
    • Foster and enhance the educational environment.
    • Host faculty/staff appreciation events throughout the year.
    • Recruit volunteers and coordinate volunteer efforts for programs and projects that support and enrich the curriculum and educational goals for Farmdale Elementary School.
    • Create and cultivate a sense of community at Farmdale Elementary School.

The annual budget is raised solely through donations and fundraising activities.  Parent involvement is a fundamental part of what makes a school community rich and robust. We take great pride in the strength of our FPA and encourage you to learn more about our programs and get involved in any of the many volunteer opportunities that work with your interests and schedule.
