Approval of New EPES Principal
Posted by Kelly Burkholder on 4/30/2025 8:00:00 AMAt last evening’s school board meeting, Mrs. Amanda Calhoun was officially approved as the next principal of East Petersburg Elementary School.
Mrs. Calhoun is a familiar face in our community—not only as an East Petersburg resident but also as a parent. She brings a wealth of experience to her new role, most recently serving as Assistant Principal at Ephrata Area High School. Her background also includes work as an Instructional Support Coordinator, further strengthening her instructional leadership and focus on student success.
Mrs. Calhoun will begin her new role on July 1. We look forward to welcoming her to the EPES team and are confident she will be a strong leader for our school community.
Thank you for your continued support as we transition leadership at East Petersburg Elementary this summer.
