Dear East Petersburg Elementary School Parents and Guardians,

First and foremost, thank your patience and understanding about the delayed dismissal today, January 12, 2022. As dismissal was just ready to begin, I was made aware of an incident within the community and at the top of our school property, and immediately enacted our safety protocols. I am so proud of our staff and students as they quickly followed our safety protocols in a very calm manner. Northern Regional Police responded to the incident. Once everything was addressed, they gave us the “all clear” for dismissal. All students and staff were safe in our school.

Again, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support of EPES!

    In appreciation,

    Kim Rauscher, Principal
