East Petersburg Elementary School Cafeteria

  • Our Food Services Department provides hot, nutritious meals to our students with the best dining experience possible. Each school cafeteria uses an electronic POS (Point of Sale). This system allows parents to limit a la carte purchases, carry positive account balances from year-to-year, and help maintain special dietary needs of students.

Breakfast is served daily and incorporates components of the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. An assortment of breakfast items and a featured breakfast entrée is served daily, unless school is cancelled or there is a two-hour delay due to inclement weather. Some of our schools also participate in the Breakfast in the Classroom Program where students can take their meal to the classroom and eat.

During breakfast service, students can expect to find:

    • Hot entrée
    • Assortment of whole grain cereals
    • Yogurt
    • Fresh fruits, canned fruits and 100% fruit juices
    • 1% white milk or fat free flavored milk
