• Technology Session for Swimming Parents/Guardians October 30

    Swimming Parents/Guardians,

    The athletic department, athletic trainers, and swimming coaches will host a “Technology Session" on Wednesday, October 30 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in Room 121 at the High School. This session will assist swim team parents/guardians with creating a required Athletic Training System (ATS) account and upload athletic physical documents, and connect to the swim team Schoology account.

    Parents can attend anytime between 5:30 -7:00 p.m. Enter door D5 at the Buchanan Office, take the stairs to the left of the lobby, and take a left at the top of the first set of steps. There will be signs providing direction.

    In advance to the session, please establish a PowerSchool account. How to create a Power School account is available on the Hempfield School District under the Operations tab>Technology Department>PowerSchool. Also, please bring your student’s HSD school login information (username and password), insurance information (company name, policy number, etc.), and name of pediatrician. Insurance information and name of pediatrician will need to be uploaded into the ATS system, along with current athletic physical, before the first day of official PIAA practice on November 18.

  • Technology Session for Girls' Basketball Parents/Guardians

    Girls’ Basketball Parents/Guardians,

    The athletic department, athletic trainers, and girls’ basketball coaches will host a “Technology Session" on Thursday, October 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Room 121 at the High School. This session will assist girls’ basketball  parents/guardians with creating a required Athletic Training System (ATS) account and upload athletic physical documents, and connect to the girls’ basketball Schoology account.

    Room 121 is a computer lab with 30 computers. To help with the flow of parents/guardians, we are asking senior high parents to attend between 5:30-6:30 p.m. and junior high parents to attend between 6:30-7:30 p.m. (But if you can’t make the recommended time, please attend when you can). Enter door D5 at the Buchanan Office, take the stairs to the left of the lobby, and take a left at the top of the first set of steps. There will be signs providing direction.

  • Hempfield Cross Country Teams Remain Undefeated & Place in LL League Championship

    Hempfield High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams were undefeated Section 1 Champions during the regular season. On Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the LL League Championship Meet, the Hempfield girls placed first and the boys second. Go Black Knights!

  • Girls Basketball Open Gym Sessions & Meeting

    Open Gym Sessions

    As we are closing in on basketball season, any girls interested in basketball should attend our open gym sessions on Mondays and Thursdays at Landisville Middle School.
    • Grades 9 through 12 will be held from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. 
    • Grades 2 through 8 will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

    Parent/Guardian Meeting

    We will have a parent/guardian meeting on Monday, October 7 2019 at 8:00 p.m. immediately after our second session to give out information and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
