Hempfield School District Counseling Services

The mission of the Hempfield School District Counseling Services Program is to provide a quantifiable, comprehensive, developmental counseling curriculum, addressing the individual academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. In a global environment, we expect all students to be productive members of the community, and to that end, the Hempfield School District Counseling Services program will identify and remediate barriers to learning, thereby creating success for all students. Therefore, the Hempfield School District, in partnership with the community, will provide a positive educational experience as the foundation for all students to achieve their full potential as citizens in an ever-changing society.

*Please Note* For information that affects specific grades (such as SAT information, Scholarships, College Visitations, etc), please refer to the Student Corner Blogs.

Help Desk
A new service will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday morning before school in the cafeteria.  Students can use the Help Desk in several ways.

  • We will help students organize their notebooks, lockers and agendas.
  • We have pencils, notebook paper, dividers, book covers, and binders.
  • We have tutoring referral forms and brochures.
  • Students can also check their grades.

NHS students volunteer time to help other students.  Please feel free to check it out!
