Superintendent's Business Council (SBAC)

The Superintendent’s Business Advisory Council (SBAC) is a district-level organization that convenes seasonally (fall, winter, spring) to share information, dispel rumors, and answer questions about Hempfield’s educational program. Members of the local business community are asked to serve on this council and provide input regarding the educational needs that local businesses desire to see met to ensure a viable workforce.

Further, SBAC discusses our district’s budgetary and financial requirements and our approach to meeting those requirements. Finally, we explore possibilities for partnerships between local businesses and the district to provide additional or unique educational opportunities that would benefit students and the business community.
