Kindergarten Registration 2013-14

To register your child for kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year, please complete the online new student registration. Please remember to select the option of "Future Kindergarten Registration 2013-2014"

Online Registration

Hempfield School District uses an online student registration program which allows parents/guardians to input student information and upload forms for review at the district office, right from the comfort of their own home, office, public library, or any other web-hosted location. In order to register your child you must first have an email account. If you already have an email address, please complete the online new student registration. After you complete the registration, you can then create a parent portal account which will allow you to check your child’s grades, attendance, and see special events at the school. Please Note: Remember to write down your account information and password someplace safe, as it will be your key into the wonderful world of student information while your child is here at Hempfield.

Please contact our registration office to make an appointment to have your uploaded documents verified and to review your child’s file. When you arrive, we’ll review the file with you to make sure the information and documents are correct. You’ll then receive a completed registration email from our system. This new system allows us to speed up the transmittal of your student’s data across our system to food service, transportation, nursing services, and your child’s school building to ensure a smooth start to your Hempfield experience.

If you do not have access to the Internet, you can simply make an appointment to bring the required and recommended forms listed below to our office where you will enter the data into a computer kiosk located here in the Administrative Building.

You must complete all requested registration information and bring the required documents to the registration office for your appointment.

Required Registration Information

1. Proof of Residency for Parent/Guardian who resides in the Hempfield School District (Deed, Lease, HSD or Lancaster County Tax Bill or Rental Agreement)
   
2. Student Birth Certificate
   
3. Student Immunization Record
   
4. Photo ID of the person legally authorized to register the child
   

Requested Registration Information

1. Copy of most recent Report Card from last school attended (Unofficial Transcript required for high school students if applicable)
   
2. Other related documents from last school attended (IEP, ER, NOREP and 504 Plan if applicable)
   
3. Name, Address, and Phone Number of last school attended (if applicable)
   
4. In the event of a shared custody arrangement please include a copy of the custodial order. In the absence of a court order of custody, the district has a custodial affidavit that can be generated, but can only be used for educational rights purposes.
