On May 17, students at Hempfield High School staged their annual MiniTHON marathon event.  The event itself culminated a year of fundraising activities including car washes, babysitting services, special events and most recently, fundraising at a Barnstormer's game.  Best Buy was instrumental in helping to support the MiniTHON with opportunities to try out games and other electronics. Students enjoyed great food and entertainment and heard testimonies from a number of local cancer survivors. Hempfield businesses, parents, faculty and staff all supported the effort. On the morning of Saturday, the students revealed the total contribution that they would be making to the Four Diamonds Fund: For The Kids and the fight against pediatric cancer. The total amount was an astounding $114, 420!
