Middle School Curriculum
Grade 7
Students enrolled in this grade study the following required topics: English, Math, Geo-World Cultures, Life Science and Literacy. Students also have the opportunity to study several other areas of interest, including Art, Family and Consumer Science, Music, Exploring technology, Physical education, Fitness, and Computer keyboarding / application.
Grade 8
Students enrolled in this grade study the following required topics: English, Math, Geo-American Cultures and Earth Science. Students also must choose between one of the following
- A full year of Foreign Language (French, German, or Spanish),
- A full year of Exploring Languages, which includes a marking period each of the three languages and one in Literacy(Reading),
- A full year of Literacy.
Students also have the opportunity to study several other areas of interest, including Art, Family & Consumer Science, Health Education, Physical Education, Music, and Manufacturing.
