On Wednesday evening, June 5, commencement for the Hempfield High School Class of 2013 was held in the Franklin & Marshall Alumni Fitness Center. There were 545 graduates in the class and the venue allowed for parents, grandparents and friends to attend the ceremony. Valedictorian Robert Shreiner addressed the class along with commencement speakers Taylor Lutz, Ryan Reichardt, and Sarah Thompson, as well as guest speaker Katelyn Elliott. Class president Tyler Shiner also addressed the class as the seniors turned their tassels to become Hempfield High School alums. Congratulations to the Class of 2013.

To all Hempfield students and staff, enjoy your summer and travel safely! The first day of school for the 2013-14 school year will be Monday, August 26!
