PSSA Testing
If you desire to have your child take the state PSSA tests for grades 3-8, 11 with district enrolled students, you must declare your request to the principal of the building serving your neighborhood. If you are unsure which building principal to contact, our district registration office can tell you which building your child would normally attend if enrolled and provide you with the contact information of the principal. All declarations must be received in the buildings no later than October 1st of each year in order to ensure testing labels and materials are ordered for your child from the testing agency. If you have further questions about PSSA testing, you can contact the PA Department of Education website for more information.
Curriculum Suggestions
For students in grades 6-12, Pennsylvania Department of Education has created a standards aligned area that will highlight the various content standards across core curricular areas you may find helpful. To use this standards aligned system, simply select the grade level and the core content area and you will be directed to a list of content and standards relevant to this subject.
